ECAV Consultores was born in 1970 as a family audit firm in northern Paraguay. Today we are consulting, audit and software — three generations of the same house.
We started with a notebook and a slide rule.
Esteban Acevedo founded ECAV in 1970 to do what we'd call "financial compliance" today — back then it was notebooks, carbon paper and bus trips from Concepción to Asunción to deliver audit reports.
Fifty-five years on, the business is still the same: helping Paraguayan companies comply with local regulation and grow. What changed are the tools — we went from handwritten journals to SIFEN, Odoo and AI copilots.
We're still a family business. That continuity is our edge: we know our clients by name, many have worked with us since the eighties, and decisions are made around a table — not in a committee.

Founding
Esteban Acevedo opens the firm in Concepción. Audit work for cooperatives and retailers in northern Paraguay.
First banking portfolio
We started auditing financial entities regulated by the BCP.
Computerization
We adopted computer-assisted accounting. First in-house system written in Visual FoxPro.
Expansion to Asunción
We opened an office in the capital to support clients growing beyond Concepción.
SIFEN certified
ECAV is certified by SET as an e-issuer. First client in production.
Odoo Partner
We become Odoo Partners. Mass migration of clients to integrated ERP.
ECAV Health
We launch our own software for Paraguayan hospitals. 12 clients in the first year.
AI copilots
ECAV Agents: AI assistants for compliance, accounting and clinical use. Running on-prem, not on the public cloud.
